On April 1, 2017, the NorthWest Western Swing Music Society hosted its 2nd annual Spring Dance, featuring the 2017 Western Swing Music Scholarship Recipients. The Event was held at Eagles Aerie #1, located on Lake City Way in Seattle, Washington.

2017 Workshop Highlights

Instructors and musicians from the NWWSMS accompanied the students. Working out the arrangements and leading the band is Paul Elliott.
Accompanying the students are Toby Hanson, keyboard; Pat Rowe, steel guitar; Jim Hollinger, drums; Taylor Kent, doghouse bass; and Suze Marshall with Elena de Lisle-Perry, rhythm guitars. Dance Instruction held between the sets was led by Mary Lee Lykes.
